If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back,a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

I guess what is written in Blogs can be important and you should always take responsibility for what you write.  Here is an article I ran across today.

Blog Confession Used in Court

December 22, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Florida teenager Blake Ranking, 18, pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter this week after a confession he posted on his blog was discovered by prosecutors.

Ranking confessed on his blog blurty.com three days after the October 2004 crash that killed his friend and left another seriously injured.

Ranking was sitting in the back seat of a car when he pulled the steering wheel as a joke, causing the vehicle to steer off the road. His blood alcohol level was reportedly twice the legal limit. The driver was sober.

"It was me who caused it. I turned the wheel. I turned the wheel that sent us off the road, into the concrete drain..." Ranking wrote in the blog post, which was later deleted. He retracted his statements in another blog entry.

Ranking will be sentenced on December 28. Assistant State Attorney Julie Greenberg has recommended five years in prison and 10 years of probation and a permanent license suspension.

I went to see The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe with my daughter on Friday and then took my class today.  What an awesome movie!  We read the book as a lit set so the kids were very excited to see the movie.  I was encouraged to see a christian theme in the theaters, and even more encouraged that I could take my class to see it.

Things to look for:

Edmond protects his father's picture but steps on the picture of Tumnus's father.

The cat still has the glasses and mustache at the end of the movie.

The white witch wears Aslan's mane into battle.

The fox addresses Edmond as "your majesty" instead of the queen.

Edmond says "this is a girl's coat" and Peter says "I know."

A cross when the table splits.

Aslan says "It is finished."

Also when the movie is finished stay ....during the credits there is another scene that hints that there will be a second movie.  (Prince Caspian)

We had the greatest Thanksgiving! All of the family got together and we had all the usual favorite foods.  I have so many wonderful friends who remembered my birthday which is today, the day after Thanksgiving.

My church has officially moved and we are in the new building. It is just not the same.  We weren't able to have our usual dinner for Thanksgiving because we have no kitchen!  I still have a few things that I need to move from the old building, but where to put it all?  I have all of my Missionette materials, decorations from my classroom, and a huge metal cabinet!  Right now I am carrying most of it around in my car until I can figure out where I want to store it all.  I want to start Missionettes back up in our new building.  I am praying about this to make sure that is what God really wants me to do.  Sometimes I take on too much and then realize God isn't obligated to finish what He didn't start.

It is sad to drive by our old building and see all of that stained glass just being left.  It is a shame.

We put our Christmas tree up. I know it is a little early but we always put it up on my birthday which is Nov. 25 so it is only a couple of weeks earlier than usual.  We are having Thanksgiving at my house this year and I wanted the tree up......my birthday is the day after Thanksgiving.
